Other Outlook users and users of webmail services such as Gmail and Hotmail are able to view the inline-embedded MSO files without additional software. To do this, click the 'Insert' tab on the ribbon bar, and then click 'Object.' In the Object window, select 'Adobe Acrobat Document' and then click 'OK.' Browse to the PDF you want to display in the message, highlight the filename and then click 'Insert.' Outlook formats the first page of the PDF and inserts it as a MSO file. If you are sure that the recipient of your message uses an email client that supports the viewing of MSO files in messages, you can embed the first page of a PDF directly into the email without first converting it to a JPEG image.
